A process, not a routine

Each massage is shaped through an attentive, responsive process rather than a set routine. I draw on a range of techniques and adapt them to your body and needs on the day, which means no two sessions are ever the same.

Techniques may include:

  • flowing strokes (effleurage)
  • kneading and soft tissue work (petrissage)
  • gentle lymphatic techniques
  • deeper, targeted work where appropriate
  • joint mobilisation and stretches
  • acupressure points

Rather than seeing the body as something to be “fixed”, I work with you as a whole person; taking into account physical, emotional and mental factors.

Your priorities guide the session, whether you’re seeking relief from muscle tension, support with ongoing health conditions, help managing stress, or a combination of these.

Before your appointment, I’ll send a consultation form to understand your health, preferences and any areas you’d like support with. We’ll also check in together when you arrive, so the massage reflects how you’re feeling on the day
